About

Alison is the director of Mattimore Wealth and Wellbeing. Originally established in 2013, as Mattimore Wealth Management, the business merged with another Chapel-en-le-Frith based business, Oakes Financial Planning in 2023. With over 25 years of experience in financial services, Alison has developed a passion for helping clients achieve financial independence and supporting those who find themselves in vulnerable situations.

She strongly believes in the importance of financial education and has made it her mission to educate her clients and the wider public on the benefits of sound financial planning. She is a sought-after speaker and has given numerous talks on topics ranging from protecting against dying too young to living too long. One area in which Alison has developed particular expertise is pensions and divorce. She has helped many clients navigate the complex financial issues that arise during divorce proceedings, and her guidance has been instrumental in ensuring that her clients achieve fair and equitable outcomes.

Alison believes that financial wellbeing is a crucial pillar of overall wellness, alongside physical, social and psychological wellbeing. She understands that financial stress can have a profound impact on mental health and is committed to helping her clients achieve financial security and peace of mind.
